The Cost of Nuclear Weapons
Each April 15, the U.S. funds its priorities. We are encouraged and want to believe government will make the best choices for a better tomorrow as it spends our money.

A Focus on Collective Humanism
Man.Org is a community website and forum devoted to the idea that a collective Humanism (not simple atheism) is the credo of widest promise toward a vision for the future of our Human species.
Collective Humanism addresses anti-Human behaviour such as nationalism, militarism and corruption as the main contributors to Human poverty. The central idea is that our species per se lacks representation vis a vis other interests such as nationalism, materialism and self-interest.
Presented with the enormous gifts and opportunities of Life, our main challenge is that we suffer from immature internal governance. We must proactively move our species, our planet, and individuals toward one sustainable and harmonized whole.
It has been said that "trying to organize Humanists is like herding cats". Let's prove them wrong, and show the world that Humanism is a personal philosophy, yes, but we can act in concert. Join us on this ultimate voyage of discovery.
Man.Org is now preparing a polling campaign to directly involve citizens in steering politicans toward a world free of militarism. Help us end the sad Human legacy of war, the awful cancer that has haunted our species far too long. Our species is ready to throw down its arms and bring in the era of Peace.

Using Public Polls to Steer Politicians
"There are many here among us, who think that life is but a joke.." - Bob Dylan
Man.Org takes Humanism and Life seriously, recognizing that in this huge and alien Universe, our only hope for a continued celebration of Life's beauty lies with our fellow Man.
Collective Humanism concerns itself with two main activities - (a)the improvement of our species governance per se, and (b)our public relations initiative to eliminate militarism.
With any donation toward our Man.Org programs, you become a full member of the Forums, and your funds are directed at major national polls commissioned by Man.Org to document the true opinions of all citizens, not just those of the major media.
Examples of questions that might be asked in the opening polls are "Do you think that our country should be declared militarily neutral?", "Should the manufacture of war weaponry be banned?", "Should we boycott nations with nuclear weapons?" - please leave us your suggestions.
These campaigns are surprisingly inexpensive. A top-quality campaign covering all of Canada by the most respected polling firm would ask four questions for $11,000 and be accurate to within 3%. Sponsors of polls will be recognized.
Once we have the answers, these will be publicized on a large public relations network read by news reporters. With our continuing surveys, we'll work to be respected apologists for Humans, first, and responsible critics of our species and its activities always.
Please, join with us as we introduce a powerful and proactive image for Humanism.

1. Farewell to the Holocene
Our world, our old world that we have inhabited for the last 12,000 years, has ended, even if no newspaper in North America or Europe has yet printed its scientific obituary.
This February, while cranes were hoisting cladding to the 141st floor of the Burj Dubai tower (which will soon […]
